How to set up email on UAFS owned iOS or iPadOS devices

1. Install the following required Apps from either the App Store or UAFS Jamf Self Service:

  • Microsoft Authenticator
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Intune Company Portal
  • (Optional) Microsoft Teams

2. Register Your Device

  • Open the Self Service app
  • Tap All and locate Register with Microsoft
    • If you don’t see this option, contact the IT Service Desk at 479-788-7460
  • Tap Register
  • When prompted, open the Authenticator app
  • Approve the registration and enter your device passcode if asked
  • Once you see confirmation that you’ve been registered, wait 3 minutes before continuing

3. Set Up Outlook

  • Open the Outlook app
  • Enter your university email address and tap Add Account
  • When prompted, open the Authenticator app again to complete sign-in

4. Completion

  • Once Outlook completes it's checks, your university email will be ready to use
