Available selections | How to apply encryption | Attachment size limitation
Available selections
- Encrypt-Only – The email and attachments are encrypted. Replies to the sender are also encrypted. Recipients can read the message and are able to copy, forward, and print the content of the email.
- Do Not Forward – The email and attachments are encrypted. Replies to the sender are also encrypted. Recipients can read the message but are not able to copy, forward, or print the content of the email.
How to apply encryption
- Open a new email
- Select the Options tab
- Select the drop down under Encrypt
- Under Set Permissions on this item
- Select either Encrypt-Only or Do Not Forward
Attachment size limitation
The attachment size limitation with Office 365 is 50MB. If the attachment is too large to send, you may try compressing the attachment in a .zip folder.
To accomplish this:
- Right click the file
- Click Send to
- Click Compressed (zipped) folder
- Attach the .zip folder to the email instead of the attachment
